CHEMISTRY WINS AVN BEST GONZO AWARD - Tristan Taormino’s Chemistry won the AVN Award for Best Gonzo Release at the 2007 adult film awards ceremony. The film is a takeoff on reality shows and features seven porn stars left in a house for 36 hours with cameras rolling but no script. It was conceived and directed by Tristan, who is a Vivid Director and New York newspaper columnist. Chemistry was released in 2006 and was Tristan’s first film for Vivid. Chemistry 2 is being released this month and Tristan is currently at work on a new generation of sex education films for Vivid. She was on hand in Las Vegas to receive her award and said afterward, “I was completely shocked.
