Vivid Entertainment Group announced it has signed Tera Patrick and her company TeraVision to a new seven-year contract.

The agreement gives Vivid exclusive distribution rights in North America to all movies produced by TeraVision, including films starring Patrick and any actresses signed by TeraVision to exclusive contracts. A minimum of four movies per year are expected to be released under the pact.

“Tera has met and surpassed every expectation we had for her,” said Steven Hirsch, co-founder/co-chairman of Vivid. “Her films Tera, Tera, Tera, Reign of Tera and Collision Course are all top sellers. We are also very impressed with what she and her husband, Evan Seinfeld, have accomplished as entrepreneurs in such a short time and we’re excited to be their distribution partners as they grow.”

Patrick said, “I am absolutely ecstatic to have Vivid as a sister to TeraVision. As a woman executive in this business, it’s a glamorous honor to be a ‘Vivid Girl for Life.’ Our track record in the first two years together of having three number one movies is an indication of how well our companies work together. Vivid has always set the standard for high-quality, award-winning movies and top-selling contract girls. Patrick is the only model to ever appear on the covers of Playboy and Penthouse simultaneously. She appears frequently in both FHM and Stuff magazines. Earlier this year FHM magazine in the U.K. announced that it was launching a regular monthly sex advice column written by Tera. She was also the subject of a day-in-the-life feature in FHM’s September issue in the U.S. She has recently appeared several times on VH-1 and was featured earlier this year on VH-1’s special “The Hottest Girlfriends and Wives of Rock Stars” on which she also served as a commentator. Additionally she is the official “Sexpert” columnist on the popular adultfriendfinder.com site.

Seinfeld, her husband and business partner, is the front man for the rock group Biohazard, which has sold over three million albums, and is also known for his role as a prisoner in 40 episodes of the HBO hit series “Oz.”

As a production and marketing company TeraVision currently has exclusive contracts with stars Nikki Benz and Lucy Lee and plans on signing additional actresses in the coming year.

Joone’s Pirates is featured prominently in the November 28th edition of Newsweek magazine, “XXX Blue, Spending Green” by Daniel McGinn. The article touts Pirates as “a sprawling epic” in their coverage of AVN’s recently released nominations.

The nominations for the 2006 AVN Awards were announced today, with winners in 104 different categories to be revealed at the 2006 AVN Awards Show in Las Vegas.

Pirates, from Digital Playground/Adam & Eve, led all titles with a record 24 nominations, the most ever for a single video feature. Vivid’s The New Devil in Miss Jones also broke a nominations record, gaining 19, the most ever for a feature film.

Wicked’s feature film Eternity earned 17 nominations, Michael Ninn’s video/film hybrid Catherine garnered 15 nominations in video categories, and New Sensations’ Dark Angels 2, the sequel to AVN’s 2001 Best Video Feature, netted 16 noms. Red Light District’s first foray into features, Dark Side, received 16 film nominations and Jules Jordan (distributed by Evil Angel) grabbed 20 nominations for productions and sex scenes.

2006 AVN Awards is January 7, and is hosted by Jesse Jane.

Jesse was a guest at the Howard Stern show recently. He quizzed her about her relationships with rock stars and her recent marriage to adult performer Rick Patrick. “Every one of the porn stars I know ends up marrying a porn star,” he mused.

Jane said that marrying a colleague just made good sense. “I love the adult business, and I’m not going to stop, and a lot of guys couldn’t handle that.”

Stern seemed surprised to hear that Jane and Patrick had never worked together and didn’t intend to, but that both of them continue to appear with other on-screen partners. Privately, she said, “we have sex all the time and I love it.”

Digital Playground’s exclusive contract star, Jesse Jane, married Rich Taylor in a private ceremony alongside friends and family at The Intimate Gardens in Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas.

Jesse Jane wore a princess dress and tiara during her fairy-tale inspired ceremony. The vows were beautful and emotional. The couple shared an intense kiss and everyone in attendance was feeling the love. The reception was held in the Rain Man suite immediately following the ceremony. Invited guests mingled and celebrated, while bride and groom toasted, cut the cake and performed all the traditional wedding acts.

Jesse gushed, “I love Rich. He’s great and he’s perfect for me. He supports my career and he understands the business I am in. We’re both dorks. We love goofing off and having fun and I’m so glad we met.”

Rich returned the sentiments saying, “it took me 29 years to find Jesse and I’m not ever letting her go.”
